KidzPark
We value your child’s safety and spiritual growth. For parents bringing their kids to church, we have great things they can get involved with!
KidzPark Ministry
Our role in KidzPark Ministry is to enable and support the ministry of the parents and church in biblically discipling the kids. We want to help them build a biblical worldview and a growing understanding and passion for the Bible. While much of this happens organically in the church family in a variety of ways, our KidzPark Ministry seeks to enable and support this work through two main avenues:
1st Hour Care (Infants - 5th grade): KidzEquip
Beginning Fall of 2023, during our Equipping Hour on Sundays from 9:00 am - 10:00 am, we will have age-specific classes that take time to focus on a specific passage or text while having activities, games, songs, and memory verses to go along with it. The kids in the KidzPark equipping hour learn more about God and his Word through our volunteers, and they have fun while doing it!
2nd Hour Care (Infants - 5th grade): KidzPraise
We recognize the importance of little ones seeing their parents take their faith seriously as they worship Jesus together through song, prayer, and the Word. We also want to be sure we engage our kids with the gospel and the Bible’s teaching in age-appropriate ways. During our morning service on Sundays from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, we offer a variety of options for our families.
For families that want to stay together during the whole service, we offer the freedom to do so and not to worry if a little one makes noise - it brings us joy and reminds us of the growing families within our church! To help kids between 3rd-5th grade learn to engage with the sermon, we also offer a Kid’s Bulletin with helpful resources that reinforce the message.
For our families that want their kids to be engaged with more age-appropriate material, we offer two different tracks:
For families with infants to preschool-aged children: We invite these little ones to get checked in before the service. Check-in begins at 10:15 am. The leaders for the infant and preschoolers will engage them with age-appropriate concepts of the Bible during the morning service.
For families with children in K-5th grade: We invite all families to worship together in the sanctuary. During the offering, kids will be invited to join our KidzPark Praise classes, where they will meet a wonderful KidzPark Volunteer who will be waiting for them in the foyer. KidzPark Praise Classes will offer age-specific Bible lessons during the sermon.
During the Prayer & Praise Service:
We do not currently offer child care during our Prayer & Praise service; since this is our family time, the kids are present and actively participate for the entire service. The sounds of the kids playing in the background are not an interruption, but a reminder that “children are a heritage from the Lord” (Ps. 127:3), so we enjoy their sweet squeals and praise God for His blessings and heritage!
